James Butterwick is a London-based gallerist, art dealer and collector of Russian and European art. He forms collections, takes part in museum exhibitions and reads lectures on Russian Art, including at the Tretyakov Gallery in Moscow in 2013. He has been travelling to Ukraine increasingly since 2013 to research Alexander Bogomazov, a Ukrainian avant-garde artist, of which he is an avid collector.
